This is how you can sponsor and support Our Kids:Thank you for taking the time to consider helping us out. We are the Wasilla Outdoor Youth Hockey Association, Inc. Our kids call themselves the “Wasilla Wild.” Please help us grow the good health of kids in our community.
We are a hockey organization which specializes in cultivating the talents and character of kids who aspire to play the game of ice hockey in Wasilla, Alaska. It is our mission to promote the development of character, camaraderie, confidence and skill through the sport of ice hockey, and, to create and maintain the opportunity for every kid in Wasilla to learn and explore the game in a safe, affordable, fun and educational environment.
To give every kid who wants to play the chance to learn the game of ice hockey, we seek to raise funds from those persons and companies interested in Wasilla’s kids. Hockey is an expensive game which requires $200-300 worth of equipment to start, and, fees of $185 per hour of indoor ice time. This cost has excluded many great athletes whose families cannot afford this sport. In addition, parents must sacrifice to get their kids to and from the rink and to get them dressed and undressed. Parents also support our teams through volunteer activities and fund-raising.
We do not expect to ever eliminate all expense to our players. Yet, without the generosity of our sponsors and friends, many of our athletes would not be able to participate. Our hope and expectation is that one day Wasilla Wild kids will play on a state championship high school hockey team from our community. Please help make that expectation a reality.

You can help us out in the following ways:
- King $2500 or More
As a King sponsor of the Wasilla Wild you will have your name displayed on the jerseys of every child on the team. The sponsorship funds will be used to purchase the jerseys for the kids. Your name will be displayed as a hockey supporter around the community for years to come.
Funds provided by a King sponsor will also pay the $800 state tournament entry fee to allow that team to participate in the state tournament. Funds will also be used for an end of season celebration with awards for all the kids. Funds will also be used to pay for the education costs for volunteer coaches, for registration of coaches with USA Hockey, and for background checks for all of our coaches.
King sponsors will have a prominent advertisement space on our website and on our bulletin boards at the Brett and the Menard Ice Rinks in Wasilla. King sponsors will receive a 8˝ x 11 full color photograph of their hockey team in a nice plaque autographed by all the children suitable for display at their business.
- Silver $1250 or more
At the Silver sponsorship level, sponsors will receive all of the benefits of King sponsorship except that their hockey team will display their business names and/or logo on half of the sponsored team’s jerseys. Another Silver sponsor will be the co-sponsor of that team and the other half of the jerseys will display the business name and/or logo of the co-sponsor.
Silver level sponsors will receive a 5˝ x 7 autographed picture of the team and will have slightly smaller advertisement space on our website.
- Red $500 or more
Sponsorship funds help us to advance the goals of our association and to pay the overhead costs of running our teams and programs. Sponsors at this level may specify, for example, that all funds go to help one or more children play hockey this year who would not play without the financial support of the sponsor.
Red sponsors receive all of the advertising benefits of the Silver sponsors except for the name/logo on player jerseys.

ALASKA DIVERSITY HOCKEY CAMP
GOLD SPONSOR
($5,000)
$ Gold or presenting sponsors will have a prominent logo display on the front page of our invitational brochure. The brochure will be displayed on our website, www.alaskahockeycamp.com and linked to our other websites, www.wasillawild.com, and www.alaskasalmoncup.com, our website will contain a link to your website. Your company’s name will be mentioned on all ads relating to the camp aired by our sponsor Q99.7 during the weeks before camp and the week after.
$ Your company name or logo on practice jerseys and/or T-shirts commemorating the Camp displayed more prominently than any other logo or company name (other than another presenting sponsor).
$ Prominent display of company name or logo on any newspaper advertisements relating to the Camp.
$ Photo opportunity with Camp Co-founder Willie O’Ree.
$ A plaque commemorating the Camp and recognizing your support.
$ Interview with Camp staff for purposes of your own article for company magazine or newsletter.
$ Right to display Alaska Salmon Cup at your business for one thirty day period.
$ First choice on opportunity to be a presenting sponsor next year.
$ Two scholarships for youths chosen by you and/or our Diversity Staff
$ A seat in the tent of the Diversity Camp at the Elmendorf Golf Course during the 2nd annual Scotty Gomez Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament on Thursday, July 10th, 2008.
$ A seat at the Gomez Foundation banquet on Wednesday night, July 9th at the Scotty Gomez Foundation banquet & auction at a table with a celebrity.
